Trévenec is a peaceful hamlet set in beautiful countryside close to the National Park of Armorica in Central Brittany, yet only 40 minutes drive from some of the best beaches in Brittany. It is only 5 minutes by car from the new Valley of the Saints Heritage Site on the outskirts of Carnoet, with its giant granite statues of Breton Saints. Within 15 minutes drive are the attractive French towns of Callac and Carhaix Plouguer and 20 minutes takes you to the extraordinary stones, lake and forests around Huelgoat. Also within easy reach are larger historic centres such as Concarneau, Morlaix, Brest, and Quimper.

The cottage itself is a beautifully presented, superbly equipped and exquisitely renovated 200-year old Breton Longère with a wonderful view over fields and woodland, yet close to local towns. It is ideal for exploring Brittany by car, cycling, walking or just relaxing in peaceful surroundings and nearby there are places to visit to suit all the family from fishing to riding to water sports to the wonderful sandy beaches and the typically French markets. Best of all, the nearby woodlands are a riot of colour in Spring and Autumn.

With thermostatically-controlled electric heating for autumn and winter and a secluded South facing garden for spring and summer, Trévenec is the ideal location for a romantic hideaway or a family holiday. Short-breaks are also available, depending on other bookings, in the low season. There are good cooking facilities, satellite television, all the home comforts you could want and play equipment for small children.
