Cheapest available ferry costs:

  • Dover-Boulogne with LD lines - £40 for car and three passengers advance booking midweek (leaves about 420 miles through lovely Norman countryside and past interesting towns)
  • Take your own car from £190 return for the car and two passengers on the Condor Fast Ferry from Poole to St Malo (journey time only 4 hours 30 minutes)
  • Brittany Ferries prices reduced on their lovely cruise boats
